Featured Project

Visense is currently developing the Netcentric System Test (NST) Evaluation Capability Module (NECM) for the Interoperability Test Enabling Capability (InterTEC) science and technology (S&T) program.  This tool automates the development of joint mission thread evaluation views for capability assessments.

NECM addresses the following test and evaluation (T&E) needs:

  • Automated, intelligent T&E analytic tools supporting joint mission effectiveness (JMe), net readiness, and joint interoperability evaluation and certification.
  • Effective characterization and tracing of Joint Mission Thread (JMT) and net-ready key performance parameter (NR-KPP) measures within the interoperability T&E enterprise.

NECM technology is being applied to:

  • Demonstrate joint mission thread, system/service functions, and associated measures traceability.
  • Demonstrate end-to-end JMe planning and execution of a netcentric command and control (C2) service-oriented architecture (SOA) use case.
  • Automate capability evaluation metamodel (CEM) measures framework involving JMT and net-enable universal joint task (NE-UJT) analysis
  • Demonstrate benefits for joint C2 network objective assessment.
